While waiting for the GP Nuvolari, in Piazza Sordello, the 2nd edition of the Concours d'Elegnce "Città di Mantova" took place in Mantova, organized by the club 8Volanti. The event, has let the elegance of a concours and the sport aspect of the Gran Prix to be combined, there were about 50 cars, with the presents of some very important and rare cars, as the Lancia Beta 1911 or the Alfa 1900 Cabriolet Pinin Farina.
In the category "most recent" (from '61s to '70s) with the closed bodywork, the Lancia Flavia Super Sport Zagato of the Lopresto Collection has not let down the public and the jury. The second of the two prototypes built, presented at the Salone di Torino in 1968, has won the first prize of class and the special prize for the prototypes.
First prize overall for the beautiful Alfa 6C 2500 Pinin Farina of 1947.
