In Sardinia with Astura and Fiat 126 "Ischia"

The Lopresto Collection attended with 2 vehicles the Poltu Quatu concours, the Lancia Astura Cabriolet Stabilimenti Farina and the Fiat 126 "Ischia".



The former was built in 1934 for Giovanni Lurani and used in race by this latter before receiving in 1935 the bodywork that it has until now.


The elegance of the lines and the unique history of this example made it win the first prize of class.
The latter is a prototype made in the Stabilimenti Autobianchi of Desio asa prototype for a little series of beach cars never went into production.
It was never been bought and was saved a few years ago by the establishment that was being demolished.

In Poltu Quatu the beach car was finally been admired by the public at its natural environment, after decades.

The Fiat 1100 Sport of the Nicolis Museum won the Best in Show.
