Who are the most influent people in the world of car collection? The newborn magazine Magneto, bimonthly started in February by David Lillywhite and Geoff Love (both from the editorial staff of Octane), tries to answer this question with a leaderboard of 50 names of the last years that brought innovation and changes in all fields, from the restoration market, the politic to the events.
To lead the leaderboard is the Duke of Richmond, followed by Jay Leno and McKeel Hagerty, only 8 car collectors are present, among them very important names such as Peter Mullin, Miles Collier, Fred Simeone, Bruce Meyer (Petersen Museum), Evert Louwman.
Thanks to the involvement in the world of concours and the work of safeguarding of the lesser-known italian automobile heritage, Corrado Lopresto join this prestigious leaderboard at the 35th place, one of the only two italian with Adolfo Orsi.
An achievement that adds up to the 24th place in the leaderboard of the collectors in the world, drawn-up by the The Key magazine last year.
