Villa d'Este: Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ prototipo awarded by FIVA with the patronage of UNESCOwith

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ prototipo has obtained the FIVA World Motoring Heritage Award during the 2016th edition of Concorso d'Eleganza of Villa d'Este, a prestigious recognition with the patronage of UNESCo for the semi-preserved restoration of the car, found at the end of 2014 in Philadelphia, in the US.

This is the fist Giulietta Coda Tronca never built and it has carried out activities of prototype for the develop of a little sport car seriesĀ  set up by Carrozzeria Zagato of Milan. It's the last evolution of the Alfa Zagato fo 1290cc from the second half of the 50s and it's the first car where Ercole Spada, the designer author of the aereodinamic lines of the car, and Elio Zagato set the record of 230 km/h in Milan Bergamo highway.
